Lexipants

We went to Missouri this weekend and had a great time.  We spent most of it at Damion’s parents and just hung out.  On Saturday we even took a walk to the park and let the kids play.  I got some really fun shots of everyone.  I even got a sunburn on my chest! The first one of many this year, I’m sure.  xD  I’m super pooped today though.  But! I’m off to San Francisco on Thursday and I’m super squeeeee about it.  I can’t wait!

Easter was so much fun!  I was so happy for everyone to meet Damion.  Good food, fun family.  It’s funny though because all the little girl cousins are old enough to have boyfriends.  And they all bring them.  It makes the family seem twice as big.  Reminds me of older days. 

I got sick on Monday afternoon.  My head was really hurting at work, and after I took a nap at home, I got really sick to my stomach.  My boss said there’s a bug going around.  I felt really blah yesterday, but today I feel much better.  No idea what it was.  But Damion said he started feeling bad last night.  I hope it’s just because he was tired. 

Damion *acquired* Sim City 4 for me.  It’s been ages since I’ve played Sim City.  This version is super dynamic and you have so many options for different things.  I have trouble once the city reaches a certain population and usually go bankrupt.  I could spend days playing it though.  That’s what I did all day yesterday while I was sick (after I woke up at 1:30pm)  I did end up feeling well enough to go get groceries.

GOD I NEED TO WORK OUT MORE!  It’s driving me crazy.  I always seem to have a reason to NOT go to the gym, when really I have every reason TO go.  I gotta figure out a good regular schedule.

I guess that’s…  a good thing?  1) It means I have less to complain about 2) It means I am not just blogging to blog.

I was shown the site www.musicovery.com by a new friend of mine, and I am in lurrrrvee!!  I can listen freely all day at work and discover new musics!  That makes me happy!

I swear my boyfriend needs to be in sales.  We decided yesterday to sell my futon so we can open up the living room so i can start sewing more and have access to my “sewing area.” That and we have a ton of spring cleaning to do.  Anyway, we decided yesterday, and today he may have already sold it to someone he knows.  Geez.  I wish I were that persuasive/talkative/liked people.

Last night we watched Young Frankenstein.  I love that movie to death.  It’s a family cult classic, and we quote it all the time.  Damion hadn’t ever seen it, so it was kind of his induction to the family.  I’ve already got him quoting it.  ♥

Speaking of family, we’re heading to my parents’ for Easter.  It’s going to be a great opportunity for Damion to meet alot more of my extended family.  Plus, free foods are always good.  Especially when it’s barbeque and such.  Yum yum!

How cool would it have been to have Sandiego for a last name when Carmen Sandiego was popular?  So cool.

Shoulder - I started physical therapy for my shoulder last week.  I have a tear in my rotator cuff.  Bad experience with the doc.  The PT’s are angels.  Angels who love burning my shoulder and poking the knots in my shoulder blade.  But my range is getting better and I’m getting my muscles back.

Boy - So, so happy.  He makes my day, every day.  And he likes helping me.  This weekend we planted flower and tomato seeds for our balcony. 

Work - is work.  I think it’s almost time for a new job.  That may or may not come with the impending move. 

Move?? - May or may not happen.  It depends on several factors.  It’s basically a wait and see game.  But you know what?  Right now, I’M STILL IN AUSTIN.  Ya freaks.

Family - My great grandmother is turning 90 so my fam is having a big party for her.  This weekend.  Oy.  That drive never gets any shorter.

Ghostland Observatory - !!!  I won tickets to go see them from the local radio station.  It’s this Friday. So. Ex. Cited.

Sewing classes - I signed up to take 4 classes.  2 beginner’s classes and 2 extra.  The 2 extra are going to be home decor.  If you’ve been following my life up til now, you know I have an interest in becoming an interior designer.  I’m considering this as a baby step towards that direction.

 So see?  Shit.  I have a lot going on.  It’s really not you, it’s me.  Don’t get all upset if you don’t hear from me.  It’s nothing personal.  But you know what?  The phone works both ways.  So nyah. :-p
